Any business in Kaldus that a foreigner may wish to do business with must have a GAON to setup their account. However, the foreigner is obviously not living in Kaldus. They still need a GAON, and NIN. How will they go about doing this? Well, it will be best to do this process before needing to do business. There is a cost to acquire the numbers needed, but these numbers will be good for the life of the citizen.
The foreigner will need to do a few things. The first will be to get a DNA kit. They will go to https://gov.ka/fgin. They will then select acquire GIN. They will be prompted to provide a password. This will be essential for logging in when they acquire their numbers. They will eventually be required to setup 2FA when they receive their GIN. Once they processed for an account, they will then need to acquire a DNA kit. This will be cost + 15%. To pay for the kit, they must use a credit or debit card that has their name on the card. The system will not process the order otherwise to reduce the chance of fraud. The kit will be sent to the mailing address on the card they used. This again is to reduce the chance of fraud.
Once the kit is received, they will need to provide a number of identifiable details. They will need to provide color copies of the following:
- Birth Certificate
- Current verified photo ID
- National Government ID card
- Passport quality photo
TAny additional verifications of identity will also be preferred. This will help speed things up. Next, they will process their DNA kit by using a cheek swab, or by spitting in a test tube. They will fill out the included application, and decide whether they wish to have an ID card sent to them. This will cost extra, but will prove useful if they are planning on visiting the nation. Once they completed everything, they will place everything in the return envelope, and take it to their preferred foreign shipper.
Once the package is received by HHS, the information will be investigated and verified, they will then receive an email from cs@hhs.ka. This email will inform the foreigner that their identity has been acquired and processed. The foreigner will receive an email from cs@gov.ka containing a .zip file. This .zip file will contain their GIN which they will need to log into the account. They will go to https://gov.ka/login and login with the GIN (in the text file), and password they provided when setting up a request for account. Their card (if ordered) will be sent via Global Priority Mail. Once they logged in for the first time, they will be required to setup 2FA. If the foreigner acquired a GIN for a KCI ID, then they will be able to buy a smartphone from KCI without requiring a KCI ID. The phone will have K-Wallet which supports 2FA authentication codes. The 2FA code is required to assure protection from bad actors. Any failed attempt to login from a device without providing the 2FA code will initiate a message to the foreigner that their password might be compromised, and to login to change their password. If a GIN is frozen, it will be much harder to resolve the issue, and they will have to hope they can call a +883 number from their provider.
Now that they have a GIN, and an NIN, they can acquire a GAON for acquiring services with a Kaldan company. This could be a KCI ID, or a Kaldan telephone number. Either way, they now have the ability to do so. They must set up services in Kaldus or their home country. This is again to reduce the chance of fraud.
